This is for real war!
(Still images)

This side of the This is for real war! series involved creating a camera that could both transport troops and capture their images in the field. Taking off from documentary war photography, these images utilize green plastic army men as subject matter, paired off with human-scale environs and lo-fidelity special effects.

The camera is made from a steel ammunition crate. With two apertures (one on-end and one on the side), this camera captures both telephoto and wide angles of view on paper negatives up to 5x7.

All images are serialized and stamped with the United States For Real War Office seal.

Series ongoing.
